The Wine Club is now in its 47th year and the 2023 programme is packed full of exciting new events and guest speakers.
Costs have escalated over the past year and unfortunately, we are having to increase our charges in order to continue to provide a programme of events to the same standard expected by members at our monthly meetings. We need to ensure that income exceeds outgoings and have enough funds to cover unexpected costs.
Membership fees for 2023 are £25.00 per person and £5.00 per evening attendance.
Guest entrance fees are £10.00 per evening visit.
Established for over 40 years and run by members, we have grown into a real community group. It’s a great starting place to meet other people in the Village so we would highly recommend our Wine Club to newcomers.
Once a member, you pay just £5 entrance fee on the night which includes all wine, a light Ploughman’s Supper AND a raffle ticket for a bottle of wine!

Invitation
Do come along as our guest and try us out for just £10 payable on the night.
We are a great mix of friendly Gotherington (and beyond) folk who enjoy a few glasses of wine together followed by a light ploughman’s supper. It’s a non-profitmaking social evening of fun, in a very relaxed atmosphere, which is centred around a different wine related topic each time. We meet once a month (3rd Tuesday of the month 7.45pm for 8pm start) in the Village Hall. We are not stuffy in any way – we don’t sell wines and we certainly don’t offer spittoons!

Our 2019 Summer outing to the Black Country Museum..
This years trip to the Black Country Museum was a huge success and great fun. Some people were a little troublesome though and needed a good whack to keep them in order in the Victorian Classroom….Chairman!

Those Mad Hatters again! Always trying it on!
