message from GPC:
The work to construct the haul road for the new Meadow Development has started off Gotherington Lane. Gotherington PC have spoken to the civil engineers on the site and they have assured us the vans parked there will only be on the road today as they are expecting a delivery of stone to construct a car park. They will then be parked in the site.
The machinery on The Meadow at the moment will be there for 6 weeks and will leave via the completed haul road, not along Aggs Close.
GPC have good dialogue channels with the developer so if anyone sees any issues or potential problems please contact Bev at chair@gotheringtonparishcouncil.org.uk so we can deal with it immediately.
